Welcome to the UNSW Chess Club web page. 2001 will be Chess Club's second year, and should prove to be an exciting one with a number of interesting projects on the drawing board. Have a look in the NEWS section for weekly information updates..
This site is divided into different sections. The HOME section is the section you are currently viewing. The news section provides updated information about upcoming events such as competition, meeting or even a scial function. The PROFILES section provides information about current members. The HISTORY section provides an introduction to the history of the club. The LINKS allows access to online chess sites.
Chess is an innovative game that encourages strategic thinking. The aim of UNSW Chess Club is to try to attract any keen chess players within the university environment. Chess games are played at a basic or advanced level depending on the skill and experience of the players. Games will always be played in a friendly atmosphere, where everyone is willing to help each other.
This page and the news page will be updated on each Monday, so check it out next Monday for any news and upcoming events. All other pages will be updated whenever there is something to update (which means that it will be updated every months or so).

CHESS CLUB IS ON EVERY FRIDAY FROM 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM IN THE HUTCHESON ROOM ON THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE ROUNDHOUSE.
